GhettoForge - We may be ghetto but our packages aren't.

This repository exists to augment the existing set of third-party repositories for EL5 and EL6 by providing those packages that either are not available elsewhere or newer packages than exist in either the base package sets or via other repositories. This means that this repository can overwrite base packages. We will endeavor to keep such packages in the [ghetto-extras] repository. Please see [LINK]this link for information on how to maintain sanity when using the ghetto-extras packages.

All packages are tested, and more importantly used, before they are made available to the public. All packages are signed with a 4096-bit GPG key (signature fingerprint: 0xABCDEFG1 [EDIT]) and the public key is available at http://ghettoforge.org/RPM-GPG-KEY.ghetto [EDIT].

To aid in package identification we use a package disttag of '.ghetto' [EDIT].

The packagers may be reached by the following methods:

1) IRC on the Freenode IRC network in the #ghettoforge channel 2) [LINK]Mailing lists.

We assume absolutely no responsibility for problems that arise from the use of this respository. It is expected that people making use of the packages we provide undertand the risks that go with using packages outside of the [base] distribution respository and are qualified to resolve any issues that may arise.

Current project members are listed below in alphabetical order:

John R. Dennison Cody Jackson Bryan Seitz Stephen Walsh

Any one interested in becoming a packager or contributing to this project should read [LINK]this link.
